Prior to the pandemic, college and high school graduations had begun to be live-streamed to combat the limitations of venue capacity; allowing more family members and friends to attend these ceremonies virtually.
This luxury became a necessity in 2020, and led to our partnership with several institutions to produce high-quality livestreams for their ceremonies. At the collegiate level, we have partnered with San Diego State University to livestream the spring semester commencement ceremonies for their 8 colleges, as well as their annual New Student Convocation in August. For SDSU's ceremonies, we have also provided live captioning to integrate with the livestream, making the program more accessible for virtual attendees.
The convocation ceremonies have taken place in both Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Amphitheater and Viejas Arena, allowing our team to execute the event in multiple environments. In addition to the livestream of the convocation ceremony, our team provided a video wall for the in-person audience, and multiple broadcast cameras to capture the event which are seen in the image below.
Beyond SDSU, we have partnered with the Coronado School District to livestream the 2020-2022 Coronado High School graduation ceremonies, and all their elementary and middle school promotions in 2022.
These ceremonies were multi-camera livestreams, each with custom on-screen graphics mirroring the school's colors and logo. Our team worked with each school to display the names of graduates as listed in their ceremony programs, and are able to stream these events under the privacy and platform of each school’s choice.
